Rietveld is one of my favourite designers, see my Rietveld page showing a few scale models. Also I have an interest in language, see my "causatief" page. And since 2012 I have an interest in Pied de poule patterns, see the programs related to my pied de poule research: pieddepoule.

If you want to see something really amazing you have to look at what my dad did: he created miniature statues of the "schutterijen" of Limburg. Each city or village in Limburg has its own "schutterij" which is organised as an old-school army with "geweerdragers" (armed men), "marketentsters" (sutlers), officers, and even a king. My father designed painted plaster models, hundreds of them, with a fine eye for detail and going for nothing less than completeness.
